Los Cabos' original craft brewery since 2007 — Baja California Sur's first microbrewery, in the Art District with an outdoor beer garden, wood-fired pizzas, and live music. Baja Brewing Company was founded in 2007 by Jordan and Charlie Gardenhire, Colorado transplants who established the first and only microbrewery in Baja California Sur. The SJdC location, their original brewpub, sits in the heart of the historic Art District adjacent to the brewery itself. Inside, a Saint Lucas statue watches over a 'Cheers'-style regular crowd; outside, the outdoor beer garden serves wood-fired pizzas with live music surrounded by local artwork, fire, and water features. Signature beers include Cabotella Blonde Ale, Pelirroja Amber Ale, Peyote IPA, and Escorpión Negro Stout — all brewed on-site using Sierra de la Laguna mountain aquifer water. The menu covers Baja-style tacos, fish and chips, burgers, fresh seafood, steaks, and designer pub fare. A second location in Cabo San Lucas sits on the rooftop of Cabo Villas Beach Resort with panoramic ocean views.
